Copy Shop
Endless Editions Copy Shop Residency is a collaborative publishing opportunity for artists working in any medium at any career level. It is hosted in remembrance of, and as a way to pay homage to, the age old local Copy Shop and the community built around these environments.
Unlike traditional residencies, the Copy Shop Residency is structured around the depth and scope of the proposed project — residencies can be as short as one day or as long as six months. Each resident's work will be published by Endless Editions and all costs, labor, and editions will be split 50/50.
The Copy Shop Residency is offered year round on a first-come, first-scheduled basis. Residents are not required to be based in NYC, however, all labor is performed in Midtown Manhattan.
Length of Residency:
Copy Shop residencies can range in length from one day to six months. Applicants can designate the length of their stay during the application process but most likely will change as Endless Editions schedule varies with other events and exhibitions. Residencies can be scheduled on a weekly basis (e.g. one day per week) or as a flat block of time (e.g. three days). Multiple residents may be scheduled simultaneously.
Costs:$5 application fee
Estimated costs range from $100 - $500 depending on the scope of the project.
